Improve your Animal Photography with Olympus Proteges

Would you like the opportunity to improve your animal photography with the Olympus Proteges competition? Actually, there are four fab categories you can choose from including fashion photography, landscape photography and rock photography. But if you’re reading this page then chances are you’re into nature, pet, and wildlife photography. This is your chance to win a beautiful Olympus EM10 camera and to have one-to-one tuition from your mentor, which is of course me if you enter the animals category. We’ll also have time away photographing animals at a specially chosen location, all-expenses-paid of course. Your best images will be exhibited at the Olympus Image Space in London at an exclusive wrap party to close the event, and might also be featured in the Olympus Magazine. I think you’ll agree all that amounts to quite a prize, so if you want to enter click here: Olympus Proteges.

The competition is open to everybody (you need to be UK based) but amateurs and improvers will benefit the most. You need to be passionate about your photography and willing to learn. The winner will be shooting with their new EM10 so if you haven’t yet explored the many benefits of the leading Micro 4/3 cameras then this is your chance. I’ll share plenty of tips about how to use your new camera as well as how to photograph animals in both wild and managed habitats. We’ll cover settings and the thought process behind composing interesting and sometimes quirky animal photos.
